Every year, Business Insider evaluates and ranks the Top 100 most valuable internet startups based on online income and estimated valuation.  Given the relative instability of the industry, positions in this prestigious club shift rapidly from year to year, providing interesting insight into ever-changing world of internet business.

Unsurprisingly, though, Facebook remains at the topic of the pack, with Business Insider noting its outstanding growth and future potential:

“Facebook continues to grow at a tremendous clip and now has more than 750 million users worldwide. The company reportedly earned $500 million on $1.6 billion in revenue during the first half of 2011 and is on track to do more than $4 billion of revenue for the year.”
